Maitland Street Medical Centre bulk bills patients who hold a current and valid Medicare card.
Some services are not covered by Medicare and will incur a private fee. These may include:
- Driver Licence Medicals
- Pre-employment Medicals
- Employment Medicals
- Insurance Medicals and Associated Paperwork
- Alcohol Interlock Program Assessments and Paperwork
- Certain Procedures and Treatments
If a private fee applies, our reception team will advise you prior to your appointment.
Payment is required on the day of consultation and can be made by:
- Cash
- EFTPOS
- Credit Card (excluding AMEX and Diners Club)
Workers Compensation & Motor Vehicle Claims
Patients attending under a Workers Compensation or Motor Vehicle Accident claim are responsible for payment on the day of consultation until a valid letter of liability has been received from the insurer.
